Peer learning
and communities
of practice

Growing connection, reflection, agency and courage, together.

I design and steward meaningful learning experiences. These foster connection, deepen reflection and a sense of agency, sparking personal, professional and collective transformation.  All in service of cultivating regenerative systems that honour and centre life.

Whether undertaking a training programme, a peer learning journey, or a community of practice—even a combination of the three—I bring care, warmth, creativity, and structure to both the design process and the immersive community experience.  Participants grow in confidence and resilience, develop new skills, become motivated to take action, understand how to better collaborate, and apply all these learnings and more in life and work contexts. The ripple effects are powerful.

If you are convening a peer group, nurturing a learning community, or looking to explore participatory, peer-led approaches I’d love to hear from you.

Let’s shape something meaningful together.

What I bring to collaboration

I stepped into the world of peer learning communities in 2017 when I pivoted from a job in trend forecasting to participate in Forum for the Future’s flagship School of System Change Basecamp programme. I then took part in a Huddle with Huddlecraft, hosted by the brilliant David Heinemann, and I was hooked.  Since then I have been committed to work in this realm. Here is what I bring to collaboration:

Over eight years of experience

Since 2017 I have been immersed in the world of peer learning and communities of practice—from participating, to designing, hosting, and facilitating. Read about some of my favourite peer learning projects below, including the Regenerative Design Lab, Human Connection Huddle and The Fair Cooling Fund.

Multi-layered integrative approach

My approach is multifaceted, weaving together systems and regenerative theories, frameworks and models of change, relational practice, coaching principles, as well as play, imagination and innovation processes to encourage experimentation.

Full spectrum design: from conception to ending

I can help establish purpose, design and programme architecture. Hosting and facilitation. Longer term community stewardship tending to group dynamics and shared purpose.

Relational Foundations

I focus on fostering mycelial connections in groups, as a foundation for everything else to follow.

Stewarding journeys and dynamics for transformation

I know what it takes to hold the complexity of a group and tend to the dynamics that emerge over time, and I understand how to nurture both the inner and outer journeys of development simultaneously.

Co-creation

The spaces I establish support people to create their own learning paths, to accompany each other in inquiry and practice, and to anchor their learning in real-life projects and contexts.

Nurturing impact

As well as clarity, confidence and agency to change behaviour and take action, participants come away with practical tools and frameworks, a lasting community of support and practice beyond the close of the programme.

Co-design a participatory peer learning journey

Co-creating the foundations of your programme or initiative—clarifying purpose, shaping design principles, and crafting the learning architecture that will hold the journey from beginning to end.

Shape and steward a Community of Practice

Formation and development of structure, intention, culture and cadence for ongoing communities of learning and practice.

Consultation, mentorship
and coaching

I can be a trusted co-designer, critical friend or peer learning mentor for individuals and teams looking to convene a peer group or create a participatory learning environment. Whether you are looking to host your own learning journey, or embed peer learning approaches into your team or organisation I can accompany you along the way.

I also offer Huddlecraft’s Huddlecraft 101 training for teams and organisations, and mentorship for anyone who would like to host a Huddle.  See below for more details.

Facilitate one-off trainings
and events

Retreats, strategy sessions, community gatherings, or one off training; I will weave in regenerative and relational practices, drawing upon a variety of tools and frameworks according to your needs.

Experiments & Prototypes

Working together on small-scale experiments or pilots to test new approaches to learning, collaboration, and systemic change. This can be a gentle, creative way to explore what’s possible.

Something else...

If something here resonates but doesn’t quite answer your needs… If you are curious but not sure if these offers are the solution… do get in touch to discuss what else might be possible. Personally, I would love to apply my expertise to place based projects, nature and living systems, food and agriculture, creative arts, both locally and further afield… if you are working in one of these areas and anything here has piqued your interest, no matter how small - let’s connect! I’d love to hear from you.

Huddlecraft specific offers

I am proud to provide two offers in association with Huddlecraft.  I have worked with the organisation for many years as an associate, Huddle host, host mentor, and designer, and am part of the Huddlecraft Collective. Get in touch if you would like to know more about either of these offers.

Huddlecraft 101 Training

Huddlecraft 101 is a training in peer approaches and how to work with them to amplify impact in your context. This training is rooted in a practice-based approach, and can provide you with the tools, methods and confidence to craft your own collective learning processes. Once the training is complete, I can offer ongoing mentorship and guidance to support you to embed these practices in your organisation or community.

*I am part of the Huddlecraft Collective, and could offer this in partnership with other members of this group. Get in touch to find out more.

Huddle Host mentorship

A Huddle is a purposeful peer group that tackles a learning journey together, a model developed by Huddlecraft. You might be an aspiring or experienced facilitator, a community organiser, a coach, a learning designer, or a real people person looking to convene a group of people around a theme or place. A Huddle is a perfect way to do this. I can be a mentor and coach, walking alongside you as you launch and run a Huddle of your own design. I have participated in a Huddle, hosted one in partnership with Deepr and Hawkwood Centre for Future Thinking, and have mentored 6 hosts on their Huddle host journeys.

Projects

The Regenerative Design Lab

The Regenerative Design Lab

Co-convening the Constructivist Regenerative Design Lab, an 8 month programme and growing community of practice for leading engineers, construction industry professionals and changemakers. We give participants a grounding in regenerative design principles and create peer-led spaces to support one another in putting them into practice. Cohorts 5 and 6 to come in 2026.

The Fair Cooling Fund

The Fair Cooling Fund

Taking a co-development approach to establish Ashden’s first grant fund, supporting 8 organisations working on the frontline of fair cooling solutions to scale up their impact.

Human Connection Huddle

Human Connection Huddle

Hosting the Human Connection Huddle in 2019 and through the COVID pandemic, holding space for 20 people exploring the question ‘How can we embed human connection into services and systems?’. A partnership between Huddlecraft, Deepr and Hawkwood Centre for Future Thinking.

Web3 Nonprofit Futures

Web3 Nonprofit Futures

Designing and facilitating a three day learning immersion that invited 5 nonprofits to explore the potential of Web3, in partnership with Huddlecraft and Catalyst.
